Josh Holloway, the actor who played Sawyer in the island-filmed “Lost,” is returning to the small screen in a CBS pilot, “Intelligence,”according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Holloway will star as Gabriel Black, a former Navy SEAL and intelligence officer, in a drama focused on the U.S. Cyber Command, a unit created around one agent with a unique trait: a microchip implanted in his brain that enables him to access the entire electromagnetic spectrum, the trade publication is reporting.
This project will be his first on TV following “Lost,” which filmed exclusively in Hawaii for six seasons, from 2004 to 2010.
He also completed roles in such films as “Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol” and “Whisper” since leaving Hawaii, with TV roles in a Lifetime anthology “Five” and a guest appearance on NBC’s “Community.”
Holloway also was a model for Davidoff’s “Cool Water” fragrance.
Holloway was one of the few “Lost” cast members who formally called Hawaii home, purchasing property in Hawaii Kai.
Michael Seitzman of “North Country” will write the pilot and serve as an executive producer along side David Semel of “No Ordinary Family.”
