'Lost' star Josh Holloway lands USA cable pilot 'Colony'
“Lost” star Josh Holloway will reunite with the former co-producer of his earlier ABC hit show, in a USA cable TV show called “Colony,” which Carlton Cuse is producing for Universal Cable Productions and Legendary Television.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Holloway, known for his Sawyer role on the Hawaii-filmed “Lost,” will portray Will Bowman, an FBI agent caught between his family and a group of resistant intruders in a futuristic Los Angeles colony.
Word of Holloway’s casting, coupled with Cuse’s latest co-producing with Ryan Condal, comes shortly after “Lost” marked its 10th anniversary of its premiere on ABC.
“Colony” will be Holloway’s first project and reunion with Cuse since “Lost.” He earlier starred in the short-lived CBS drama, “Intelligence,” which was Holloway’s first post-“Lost” recurring series, following a round of big-screen and TV roles while living on the Mainland. Holloway still owns a home in Hawaii Kai.
Cuse’s recent projects include Amazon’s “Point of Honor” and A&E’s “Bates Motel.”
